Are your products vegan? + -
All our products are vegan as defined by the vegetarian society guidelines, but some may contain traces of fish due to manufacturing methods. Please see our product pages for full list of ingredients.
What are the health benefits of your olives? + -
Olives are an important part of the healthy Mediterranean diet. Plentiful monounsaturated fats, particularly oleic acid, help to reduce bad cholesterol, and increase good cholesterol, as well as reducing inflammation, helping to prevent heart disease. Powerful antioxidants, Vitamin E and oleuropein, help control free radicals that can compromise heart health and the fermentation of the olives is known to benefit digestive processes. What are the health benefits of your pulses? + -
Consumption of beans and pulses is hugely important for health; Fibre can reduce the risk of heart disease, a low glycaemic index makes them excellent for diabetics and good for weight management and they are an excellent source of iron and calcium. Along with folates, polyphenols, B vitamins, zinc, phosphorous and other minerals, they are packed with health enhancing goodness.
