    A fully ripe black olive from the region of Aragón in north-eastern Spain. It has a soft texture with a lovely oily mouthfeel and delicious balance between acidity and sweetness. Excellent eaten on their own, for use in cooking or making your own tapenade at home.

    What is the difference between a black and a green olive?

    Green olives have been harvested before the fruit has fully ripened. Most black olives have reached maturity on the tree so that they have a milder, oilier flavour. However pitted black olives are very often artificially coloured.
