    Caperberries in vinegar with garlic cloves. Pickled Caperberries have a sharp and tangy flavour with grassy, floral notes and a yielding texture with some crunch from the seeds. Caperberries can be eaten like an olive or used to bring their distinctive flavour to a number of dishes. The fruit of the caper bush, they have a similar, but milder, flavour to a caper, which is the flower bud of the same plant. Free from artificial additives.

    Is a caperberry the same as a caper?

    The caper is the flower bud of the caper bush whereas the caperberry is the fruit of the bush; they have similar flavours but the berry is milder and less piquant. Because the textures are very different they are not interchangeable.
