Some days call for balance. A cold drink to fight the heat, with just enough kick to remind you it’s summer. A classic Martini with a sharp twist. The trick? Let the ice melt a little. The longer it sits, the dirtier it gets.
How dirty will you have it?
Method
Drop one guindilla chilli into each compartment of an ice cube tray, then top up with guindilla brine from the jar. Freeze solid for at least 5 hours or overnight.
Fill a mixing glass with regular ice, preferably 2 large ice cubes. Pour in the gin and vermouth over the ice and stir for 20 to 30 seconds until properly cold.
Place one guindilla ice cube into each martini glass, then strain the stirred martini straight over it.
Ingredients
2 Perelló guindilla chillies & some of their brine
